A World to Win
DSA Fund is launching a new fellowship program to support organizers who are doing groundbreaking work to bring new communities into the movement for democratic socialism.
DSA Fund supports leaders building democratic socialism in their own communities.
Since its inception, the Fund has been helping young organizers learn how to become leaders, and connecting comrades from different college campuses – and different countries.

For nearly 50 years, DSA Fund has been supporting young democratic socialists to organize their fellow students.
What was once DSA’s Youth Service is now our partner at Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA), with chapters on 109 campuses nationwide. And with today’s attacks on student protestors and higher education institutions, their work has never been more important.
Potential democratic socialist leaders are everywhere!
DSA Fund has supported two recent programs to help them grow. In 2023 we supported DSA’s Multiracial Organizing Institute, convening young organizers of colors from across the country to develop better strategies and tactics for expanding the movement for democratic socialism. In 2024 we supported the exchange program between DSA and Fundação Perseu Abramo, the intellectual hub of Brazil’s Workers Party (PT), growing comrade-to-comrade links and sharing best practices from a leftist party who has been able to win national elections and pass sweeping reforms.
As a speaker, having the opportunity to lead a couple workshops and answer other comrades’ questions made me more confident in myself as a leader and as a socialist in general.
You hear over and over from people that they come back from conference revitalized and you don’t really believe it until it happens.
