The goal of this event was to highlight how four chapters in different contexts have used their work around socialists in office (SIO)—first electing them to office, then mobilizing around the political and legislative fights SIOs are leading—to grow their chapters and build member leadership. The discussion covered how SIOs and chapters are dealing with the threats and opportunities under a fascist federal government. This panel served as a resource for chapters planning to start SIO work, or who were seeking to improve collaboration between SIOs and the chapter.
